Over the past few years, working within sustainability teams at large corporates I’ve followed the shared value journey closely. I have seen first hand how corporate and NFP partnerships have moved beyond donations and sponsorships to an alignment of interests and resources.
Although there’s still work to be done.
It’s encouraging now that there’s more of a focus on how to engage and implement using the approach, rather than getting bogged down in whether you call it shared value, social innovation or social impact. It really doesn’t matter – the important thing is that you are doing it!
